Practical and Innovative Acoustics for Everyday Projects

The properties, arrangements, and layered compositions of materials (coupled with resultant spatial volumes) influence how wanted sounds and unwanted noises reach and impact occupants. This session will briefly explore how attention to architectural acoustics can allow more successful everyday projects and lead to material research and innovation, including examples of alternative material usage.
