CSI Dallas,

What an exciting month November was for the Dallas Chapter.  The Technical Lunch at Dave & Buster’s in Dallas featured the presentation, Achieving Healthy, Comfortable, Interior Environments through Sustainable Performance-Based Design presented by Meredith England with Saint-Gobain. The November chapter meeting presentation was amazing.  Tom Scherle, AIA, CSI, CCCA, LEED AP with HKS Architects presented the Anatomy of Globe Life Park in Arlington.

CSI Dallas,

What a great month October was for the Dallas Chapter as we received the Outstanding Chapter Commendation Award at CONSTRUCT in National Harbor, Maryland.  Past President Kevin Wang accepted the award as other Board members and I cheered him on across the stage.  Our chapter also hosted our fall Immersion Event at the ACU in Addison, TX

CSI Dallas,

We are quickly approaching the very scary month of October filled with ghosts and goblins.  We kicked off the fiscal year in September with the Member Extravaganza at the Addison Convention Center.  The meeting allowed members and visitors to network with committee chairs allowing them to better understand our events and committee positions.

CSI Dallas,

Greetings, CSI Dallas Chapter. It is my distinct honor and privilege to address you in my first President’s Message. I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable summer.

Your CSI Dallas Board and Committees met in July at the board retreat to discuss and plan the 2019-2020 fiscal year for our chapter.  We kicked off the year with our chapter’s involvement with METROCON Expo & Conference.

CSI Dallas,

Oklahoma City Chapter April 4-6. As usual, the Dallas Chapter was heavily involved, being the largest chapter in our region, which is comprised of the 9 local CSI Chapters in Texas and Oklahoma, as well as the Oklahoma State University Student Chapter. As always, the education sessions were very successful and informative, with an emphasis on tying together the past and the future of construction. The HYPED2 trade show was also a success, again with much participation from our Dallas Chapter members. While we learned a great deal, it was not all work.

CSI Dallas,

Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed a joyous and relaxing holiday season.

While we all did, too, we’re right back at it in 2019. After another successful Holiday Party, for which you helped us raise $5,000 to donate to Hearts & Hammers Dallas, in addition to simply being another fun time, we are right back at it.
